The ideal way to develop run speed is with a combination of strength work, speed work and hill reps! All levels welcome… it’s not about speed or distance!

Winter Hill Reps (October – March)

As it is now too dark to run safely in and around Kenworthy Woods or Chorlton Water Park, the venue for hill training has changed to the grassy incline on Mauldeth Road West.

Starting on Wednesday 27th September: sessions will be run every Wednesday @ 6.30 p.m. We’ll meet at the Sai Spice Restaurant (previously The Southern pub) on Mauldeth Road West, Chorlton M21 7SP.

All CRs and all levels welcome…it’s not about speed or distance! (and you don’t have to be affiliated)

Please wear hi-viz clothing etc. Make sure you do a warm-up jog/run before you arrive. The session will consist of drills, followed by hill reps on the incline leading up to Hough End and finish with stretches. Look out for the post on the group FB page each week.
