How to Join Chorlton Runners

This is a programme aimed at helping take people from walking to running
On Sundays: We meet in the car park of Chorlton Waterpark at 09:00am.
We will do a slow lap around the lake and then do a variety of distances and speeds
On Tuesdays: In the summer (April to mid October) opposite the Bowling Green Pub in Chorlton at 18:30 and in the winter at the same time outside Chorlton Library. (The Tuesdays runs will be for beginners and also cater for more experienced runners taking in 5 miles plus run and are at a reasonable pace) Contact us for details of summer /winter changeover
What's involved on the runs?
On Sundays we do a warm up lap around the lake, and walk/jog for beginners (appox a mile) then some stretches and from there people have lots of options: homeward bound, another mile or so to Jackson's Boat Bridge, a route around Sale water park, a longer route though the Ees and into Sale waterpark, ultra sale where we tend to get lost but end up back around sale waterpark!
There is often a coffee van at the water park and we have a small kitty with him. Its nothing official and not at all obligitory, but rather than bringing change along people just chuck in the odd fiver here and there. (Only if your having a drink though)
On Tuesdays we usually we a slow walk/run fro beginners and also fro more experienced runners a5 miles plus at a reasonable pace, the location varies.
