Ouch!
We hope your time with us will be injury free however, we all get the odd twitch now and again.
Runners tend to have common injuries, from shin splints to plantar fasciitis (sole related niggles) On the whole these can pretty much be cured. However runners being runners tend not to sit still too long.

If you're new please don't overdo it, make sure you get plenty of rest between runs so that your body can recover and adapt. Similarly if you're an old hand and up your mileage greatly in a short spec of time you are likely to injure yourself by putting sudden extra strain on your body.

Also be aware of tripping up.
