In support of World Mental Health Day
Sunday 8th October at Chorlton Water Park
In support of World Mental Health Day during the week of 6th – 13th October 2017 England Athletics, supported by Mind the mental health charity, are encouraging people to #runandtalk to improve their mental wellbeing through running and break down the stigma associated with mental health by getting people talking about it
Chorlton Runners mental health ambassadors are organising a run and talk event on Sunday 8th October at Chorlton Water Park. We will be starting at 10:30am with a choice of two relaxed run options (1 mile or 2 miles) followed by coffee, cake and chat.
Anyone who wants to run to improve their well-being, or just to show their support, is welcome to attend, and we would especially encourage people who haven’t run with the club before to come along.
